Lesson Plan #2- Red Scare at Home
Introduction:
Coming out of WWII the United States finds itself as a World Superpower. However, as the Cold War starts life at home takes a longer look at Communism and the people throughout the country who might be Communists themselves.
Objectives:
Content/Knowledge:
1. Compare American domestic policy from before WWII to after WWII
2. Identify changes in everyday life after WWII in the U.S.
Process/Skills:
1. Analyze how the lives of many Americans where changed because of McCarthyism and committees like HUAC

1. Identify moral dilemmas about reporting in Communists and the consequences around it
